Signs Aren't Enough.
You sense your loved one has been trying to communicate. A particular song at just the right moment. A feeling of presence you can't logically explain.
But noticing signs isn't the same as connecting on purpose, WITH your loved one. You want that, but where do you even start?
That's not a gap in your ability.
It's simply a skill you haven't been taught yet. In fact, most of us were never taught to trust our own intuition in the first place.
Staying Connected teaches intentional spirit communication for loved ones and guides — with real structure behind supporting you.
What Our Students Say
Our Loved Ones Are With Us
"I learned the world of spirit is filled with excitement, emotion, wonderment, and frankly — downright incredible and amazing. I learned to connect with my loved ones in spirit. The atmosphere was collegial, cooperative, supportive and productive."— Ed van Donkelaar
I Don't Need to See Them as Gone
"I am not the same person that I was nine weeks ago. And I mean that in a very good way. This class has been healing for me on multiple levels. It's helped tremendously with my grief and missing my daughter... I have learned that I do not need to see them as gone. But I can see them as spirits still with me, sending me messages which I joyfully receive."— Carolyn
Validating with Undeniable Evidence
"This class provided undeniable evidence that there is more-than-coincidence at work with respect to after-death communications. Now I have a beginner's toolkit to help make these communications easier, more frequent, and more reliable."— AB
Why Connecting Is Easier Here
Many beginner classes miss the mark in one of two ways.
Some push you into unsupervised practice too soon. You’re in breakout rooms before you're ready, with no one to help you understand — in real time — why you're struggling.
Others offer minimal structure, leaving you feeling you just can’t “get it.”
WMA does neither.
Two Mediums, One Coach, Every Class
You're never learning from a single perspective. Amy Utsman and Sharon B. Jones — both professional mediums — teach and demonstrate live. Coach Nancy Scheel supports the psychological side: working with the self-doubt that hinders learning and connecting.
Guided Group Connections
Each class keeps all 20 students together the entire time. Meetings include live guided meditations and connection exercises. You're not just hearing about the four clairs, you're experiencing them, in real time, with lots of support.
A Practical Approach, Designed for All Learners
We teach pragmatically, step-by-step. Our curriculum was built collaboratively by our mediums with an instructional design specialist, applying adult-learning principles. Analytical and neurodivergent thinkers are welcome here.
A Safe Space to Not Get It Right
It's normal to feel nothing at times, or to second-guess what you sense. Unlike other skills, intuitive development doesn't follow a linear path — and it's highly individual. You're supported through all of it.
Written Materials to Support Structured Learning
You don’t have to absorb everything at once. We provide PDFs of all activities and PowerPoint slides so you don’t have to take notes. Every class is recorded, with all recordings and materials available for a full year after class ends.
Healing Is Part of Our Method
Most schools teach spirit communication as something mystical. We teach it as personal transformation.
Most people come to this class expecting to learn a skill. Or to find out whether connection is even possible.
But many have deeply personal healing experiences.
They experience a profound understanding that their loved one is closer, and more present, than they ever realized. Some even say that’s a life-changing realization.
We're not going to promise you'll reach one specific person, on one specific night, on command. What we can say is this: across nine weeks, most students do experience genuine, intentional connections. And for many, that fundamentally changes their relationship with their loved one in Spirit.
What You'll Gain in 9 Weeks
By the end of Staying Connected, you will:
Sense connection vs. imagination — with real experiences to ground the distinction
Connect with your loved ones — guided and supported
Identify your strongest senses — feeling, seeing, knowing, or hearing ("the clairs")
Understand healthy energetic boundaries — to stop feeling depleted
Troubleshoot your experiences — instructors “tune in” to “see” what happened
Understand what we often miss — why people in Spirit communicate their way

What Our Students Say
Everyone Progressed at Their Own Pace
"The instructors Amy, Sharon and Nancy are very supportive and each carries their own unique abilities and experience to aptly guide us to connect with our loved ones in spirit. The modules are well structured with plenty of opportunities for everyone to ask questions and share their experiences... All these allowed me to grow confidence and validate that we can connect with spirit."— Tc Lim
Grief Directed Me to Explore
"I explored mediums for connection and I was led to WMA. My goal was to connect to my loved one, and WMA has helped and is continuing to give me the tools and confidence to do so. They all provide a safe, encouraging, and guiding environment."— KZ
A Connection I'll Never Forget
"I was fortunate and grateful to have had a demonstration reading during one of our classes, where my brother came through. The reading was spot on and profound, and it is comforting to know that with practice I have tools to continue this communication."— Dan M.
Who This Class is For
Staying Connected is the right fit if you:
Have noticed signs or presence but want to move into intentional communication
Are curious about how spirit communication actually works, even if you're still unsure it’s real
Want structure and guided support instead of figuring it out alone
Staying Connected is NOT the right fit if:
You're in the early, acute stage of loss (see Is This Real? instead)
You can already connect intentionally and know your clairs (see Clairs & Connections or Level 1 instead)
Staying Connected is a starting point, not a finish line. Many students continue with The Validation Lab (an optional 4-week extension with your same cohort) or Clairs & Connections. Some go on to Level 1 — though plenty of students take this class simply to reconnect with their own loved one, with no further training in mind.
